90s mischief
My friends and I were hopping the fence after drinking a pint of cherry vodka a piece. I was drinking with Tommy Morrison before I could drive. This was around 91-93 . Luckily I’m still alive!!!!

Biggest bar fight I ever saw was there. Like a movie, chairs flying and everything.

First time there was probably 1985. Before the big roof was in place. We took our camp chairs and sat there and watched a live band play. I was just a kid I went with my parents. Snuck in for the first time when I was 16. There was a big freaking bouncer there. I think his name was Art. I was sitting there in a booth, chatting with a couple older ladies, thinking I had the world by the balls. I seen art coming at me out of the corner of my eye. He placed his very large hand around the back of my neck and suggested that I leave the establishment and do not return. lol

Started going to Noel in high school, we would swim at low water bridge and fish. Started partying at Shadow Lake when I turned 18 till I finally stop going when I turned 46. Realizing my window had closed and I didn’t want to camp at Wayside camp grounds anymore. 1980-2008, 28 seasons was enough. Meet some great people over the year. It was a lot cooler than Road House. It was like Eskimo Joe’s on the water! I still drive up an take a dip at low water!
Happy Anniversary Shadow Lake!!
